Where do you want to go? australia Who do you want to go with you? No one i am visiting friends and family over there What are you going to do there? What i'm planning to do for the first week at leaste is to spend quality time with some family members that i haven't seen in years such as my family from my dads side. the next week will be mostly getting in touch with my friends and start to hang out with them maybe going out to different place such as the beach clubs and just hanging doing whatever. Where will you stay? my plan was to either to stay over with some family or maybe bunk with some friends. if neither can be acclompished i would plan to find a low to mid level hotel What do you need to get there? Need to redo my passport because it is loss but otherwise i do not need visa since i am a australian citizen. i also need to save up a decent amount of money for the flights itself and enough money to porvide for myself while over there. i could also save moeny by living with family members aswell. my plan to get around was to rent out a car or to borrow some of my family cars

engineering level 2 2020 handtools

this blog is to show my evidence of me using different hand tools 

this is me using tin sips to cut sheet metal for my metal plates for my can crusher

this is me using a 32 tpi edge hack saw blade to cut my lever bar i used a 32 tpi blade because the metal lever bar was hollow and the 32 tpi could remove it at a fast pace 

this is me using a filer to file down my level bar to the correct size

this is me using a hole punch to put indents on my metal plates so i know where to drill my holes in later

this year for engineering i had to make a can crusher this is my photographic evidence of my completed work.

what i really enjoyed about this project of making this can crusher is how straight forward it was do and complete the can crusher all the parts were relatively easy to make with only problem I had was putting together my parts through welding.

the one problem i had about this project just mostly involved the welding part of it but even so I am glad I did it so due to receiving more experience gas welding and MIG welding.

overall I found this project pretty fun and great to do and found little problems with it I'm happy how my work turned even though I ran through a couple bumps in road while doing it.

Reducing plastic waste plan

Dear customers and suppliers

We at Stanley Organics aim to reduce and stop plastic getting in out landfills, certain biodegradable/degradable plastics bags and bottles only break down in certain conditions this is not a long term decision and we want to invite our customers to help with this plan. Stanley Organics wants to work with customers as a community and we openly accept any feedback and improvements that customers have. Stanley organics aims to changes the way how our customers buy everyday products.

Here are our products and ideas:

1. All plastic bags are now replaced with hessian bags (made from flax and hemp fliers).First bag free with purchases over 50$.or we will provide recycled cardboard boxes (and help carry into your car).

2. Most liquids (liquid soap, shampoo,dish washing,etc) now available in 'fill your own' containers.Bring your own container to fill and get 5% discount.

3.Fresh vegetables- instead of plastic bags, try reusable waxed cotton bags to keep our food fresh.

subject:  kitchen recycling

this is just a general review over the situation

1. I have found that the bins are mostly being used correctly, but the food isn't emptied as often as it should be and the kitchen becomes quite smelly at times. 

2. Most of the staff members are taking this new recycling system quite well, but some of the staff members are thinking the recycling system is a waste of time but they still follow the rules. 

3.finally, there is confusion on what types of plastics are recyclable.

in conclusion, I think things mostly stay the same but we need to make it so the cleaner or staff members take out the food bin more often. We should also have of some sort of chart explaining what plastics are recyclable or not.

notice: fire evacuation instructions

to all staff members please be advised that if a fire alarm is ever sounded you are required to follow these instructions

1. immediately proceed outside to the car park 

2.you must wait there and you are NOT allowed to leave 

3. wait until a fire safety officer has given a all clear on the situation.

finally to all those people that complained about the emergency exits being blocked please note that this is illegal and very unsafe, so staff members need to make sure the emergency doors are clear from any sort of obstacle.

I will like to apologise on behalf of The department store on one of our workers terrible behaviour, your complaint has been heard and the worker max has been given a warning and has been told this type of behaviour is unacceptable and now has been going through more customer service training to make sure this situation will not happen again. pleases accept a 50$ gift card for the inconvenience that can use to shop at any of our departments of our stores.
